Golden
Island Trip is a backwater island, 12 kms from Shiva Garden.
The
trip starts from Shiva Garden at 3h30 PM to a backwater village call
Kayikkara, birth place of a famous poet call Kumaranasan.
From
this village we take a traditional wooden punting boat to the
beautiful Golden Island and visit the Shiva Temple.
On
the way back, we stop in Kovillthottam, a wonderful endless and not
touristic beach with a mix of green vegetation, flowers, sand and sea,
to watch the sun set.
We
arrive to Shiva Garden around 6h45PM.
