Shiva Garden’s accommodations are unsurpassed, each room has been lovingly crafted to give our guests a comfortable and home-like experience. Our twin bed rooms have two large, comfortable beds and a big private bathroom. The Garden Apartments are ideally suited for families.

Each room is well ventilated and guests will experience the comfort of today's India a midst the lush green surroundings.
The authentic Indian embrace our guests feel keeps many returning year after year.

 Lodging Deluxe Rooms

Our deluxe rooms are clean and well-appointed, well suited for travelers who plan to stay in Varkala throughout their visit to India.

There are two types of deluxe rooms at Shiva Garden:

Some of the deluxe rooms have a balcony with chairs for relaxing, reading a book or overlooking the jungles of Varkala. 

Others have a more spacious room and bath with shower, but no balcony.

Home-stay Rooms

Our home stay, or standard rooms, are simple accommodations for short-term travelers who just need a clean, simple room in which to rest and recuperate before continuing their travels.

Tree House

The tree house rooms are a traditional south-east Asian living accommodation, raised above the jungle floor.

Dormitory

The dormitory is the most basic of our accommodations. It is a traditional Indian "thatch-hut" living experience, not to be missed.

There are two open-air, top floor areas, with mixed dormitory's in different buildings.

Tends

The tends are located in the rooftop, and it is a more private type of budget accommodation.

You can sleep under the stars with the tops of the coconut trees completing the view.
These rooms have 60-degree views of the garden area and the village of Varkala.
